1909 kitchens – Exclusive kitchen suppliers for Derbyshire

At Kitchens Complete, we know how important it is to have the perfect kitchen suited to your needs. 1909 kitchens are a traditional kitchen company, offering several kitchen styles. They are made-to-measure, so at Kitchens Complete, we can design a kitchen unique to you. There are three main styles of kitchens available: Shaker, Ovolo, and Slab. Beading can be included in Shaker and Ovolo kitchens to add even more elegance to your new traditional kitchen.

Shaker kitchens

Shaker cupboard doors are a timeless classic and work perfectly with all types of homes, from traditional to modern. They are the core framework on which 1909 kitchens are based. These shaker cupboard doors are characterised by clean lines with an inner frame. They have a lowered centre panel with no decorative beading. With their minimalist style, shaker kitchens are perfect for all types of homes.

Ovolo kitchens

Ovolo kitchen doors are similar to Shaker doors but with beading on their outer frame. This intricate design adds a little extra to your kitchen. Ovolo doors suit an array of homes, including smart townhouses to quaint cottages. Ovolo kitchens subtly add to the classic Shaker style to make the perfect addition to your home.

Slab kitchens

If you want a more contemporary feel, the 1909 slab door is the ideal choice. It is only available in its purest form, and it cannot have any beading. Slab kitchens create a sleek and inviting look suitable for any setting. With a clean, linear style, Slab kitchens are great for more compact spaces.

Beading options

Our Shaker and Ovolo kitchens are available in their purest forms, or they can be further embellished with additional beading. 1909 kitchens have three beading options available:

Half Pencil & Scalloped

The Half Pencil & Scalloped is the most detailed of the three offered by 1909 kitchens. This style is nestled between the centre panel and frame, and adds extra elegance to the room. This style cascades into the centre panel, giving your kitchen a light and refined look. Paired with either a Shaker or Ovolo door, we can create your bespoke period kitchen.

Georgian

The Georgian beading style adds more detailed framing to the Shaker or Ovolo collection. If you’re looking for a traditional kitchen with more elegance, Georgian beading can bring distinguished character to any kitchen design.

Quarter Round

Quarter Round beading is a ‘quarter of a round’ that sits within the inner panel of the door. Add it to your Ovolo or Shaker doors to give a hint of softness to your new kitchen. This beading can be added to all four sides of your frame or two opposing sides. Combined with a gentle colour palette, Quarter Round beading can create a calming and timeless environment. At Kitchens Complete, we will work with you to create your bespoke traditional kitchen.
